the harmony of the universe often provides something good in the face of something bad, and vice versa. so i received some good news- i will be attending a hearing in NY with the partners on friday, which means a) i get to see a trial in person which is pretty exciting and aws, and b) i get a free trip to ny to see my girls

next: the bad news. well it turns out that i have to prepare all kinds of memos and do all this work i've been putting off since may to present to the court on friday. oopsie daisie. i'm not sure it's even possible to finish it all. f.
